We were brought in to test, analyse and improve performance on the new Man City website, as well as develop new features and components.
Our first step was to establish a series metrics on the current performance of the site, so we could target key areas for improvement and monitor the effectiveness of our changes. After the first month we found that we had provided:
Manchester City has many different websites, apps and campaign microsites and a huge number of suppliers. To update and maintain everything was costly in time and budget.
They required a single place for data and administration of data, and Stadion’s solution, ADA, was born: a collection of APIs and Data Admin tools that power MCFC products. It’s fast, flexible and reliable and provides an extensible platform to grow with MCFC’s needs.
We built the Identity Management (IDM) service which allows users to move securely between the MCFC areas, such as Cityzens, Ticketing and the Shop, without signing in each time.
When new partners come on-board they’re provided with a complete authentication and authorization framework to create their secure, customised service. The centralisation of the authentication workflow means it can be efficiently modified and maintained.
To consolidate supporters’ preferences and personal data and to ensure GDPR compliance, Stadion developed the Preference Centre: an interactive portal where fans can update their personal details and marketing preferences.
All updates are synced to relevant third parties such as Ticketing and Shop providers, ensuring data integrity throughout.
